Get to Know Louis Canevari: Commercial Ag Lender
Louis Canevari is a Commercial Agricultural Lender with Farm Credit of Florida, serving producers throughout Southwest Florida. His strong background in agriculture, lending, and public policy, combined with deep local ties, makes him a valuable resource for the region’s farming community.
A Lake Placid native, Louis joined Farm Credit in March 2021 as a Credit Analyst in Alachua. Later that year, he returned to his hometown to become a Lifestyle Lender. Today, he continues to support rural communities in his expanded role as a Commercial Ag Lender, primarily covering our Lake Placid and LaBelle branches.
Louis attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in Tifton, Georgia, where he earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Agribusiness and Agricultural Communication. After college, he worked in Washington, D.C., focusing on public policy for the U.S. beef industry.
