Get to Know Chuck Cruse: Commercial Ag Loan Officer

This month, we are proud to shine the spotlight on Chuck Cruse, whose dedication to rural communities and unwavering commitment to agriculture make him an invaluable part of the Farm Credit family.

Chuck’s journey is one of genuine connection—to the land, the people, and the purpose behind every loan. For him, the most rewarding part of his role is simple: seeing the real-life impact Farm Credit has on the lives of those we serve, whether it is helping a young farmer secure their first loan or supporting a multi-generational family operation.

Chuck holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Valdosta State University and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Georgia. His career began in the fertilizer industry, followed by work in a large citrus operation, before transitioning into agricultural finance in 1998.

He joined Farm Credit of Florida in March 2018 as a Farm Credit EXPRESS Relationship Manager and was promoted to Commercial Loan Officer in 2019, serving the Okeechobee branch. With over two decades of experience in agriculture and corporate lending, Chuck brings a well-rounded perspective and a deep understanding of our members’ diverse needs.
